Qualification tests if a cable can support a specific speed (e.g., 10Gb/s) by sending real data packets (BERT). Certification checks if the cable meets a specific standard (e.g., Cat6A) using physical parameters. Qualification is often more practical for verifying performance.

Does it support Fiber Optic?

Yes, the NetXpert XG2-PLUS has SFP ports and can test both Single-Mode and Multi-Mode fiber optic cables, verifying them for 1G or 10G Ethernet.

What speeds can you test?

We can qualify Ethernet links for 100Mbit, 1Gbit, 2.5Gbit, 5Gbit, and 10Gbit speeds according to IEEE 802.3 standards.

Can you test PoE?
