Why Engineering Teams Choose Tim&Team

We're not a generic IT company. We're network engineers with enterprise-grade tools.

German-Precision Equipment

We invest in Fluke DSX-8000, Softing certifiers, and Ekahau Sidekick 2 — the same tools used by Fortune 500 network teams. No consumer-grade shortcuts.

Certification, Not Just Testing

A cable that "works" isn't certified. We provide permanent link certification reports valid for warranty claims and compliance audits. Every port documented.

RF Expertise Beyond Wi-Fi

Deep spectrum analysis including interference from Bluetooth, IoT, microwaves, and neighboring networks. We solve problems others can't even diagnose.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is a site survey different from just installing APs?

A site survey predicts coverage before installation, identifies interference sources, and optimizes AP placement. Installing without a survey is guessing — you'll end up with dead zones, interference, and unhappy users. Our Ekahau surveys save you from costly re-work.

Do I really need certification for my cables?

If you want 10G speeds, manufacturer warranties, or to pass compliance audits — yes. A cable that "lights up" isn't proof it meets TIA or ISO standards. Certification provides documented evidence that each link performs to specification.

How long does certification take?

For a typical office (50-100 drops), 1-2 days. You receive PDF reports the same day testing is completed. Larger facilities take proportionally longer, but we work efficiently to minimize disruption.

What if a cable fails certification?

We identify the exact fault location (often down to the inch) and repair or replace the problematic segment. You only pay for certified links — we don't charge for failed cables that we subsequently fix.
