Certified Testing Equipment & Standards

A Cable That "Works" Isn't Certified

70% of network outages originate at the physical layer. Without proper certification testing, you're gambling with your infrastructure.

Continuity ≠ Performance

A basic continuity test shows the cable is connected — but doesn't verify it can handle 10 Gigabit speeds or meet TIA/ISO performance parameters.

Warranty Requirements

Most manufacturer warranties require documented certification by a qualified technician. No certification = no warranty claim if something fails.

Cost of Downtime

Gartner estimates network downtime costs $5,600 per minute. A single bad termination can bring down an entire floor.

Certification Services

Complete testing and certification for copper and fiber optic infrastructure

Copper Cable Certification

Full performance validation using Fluke DSX-8000 certified to TIA Level 2G / IEC Level VI accuracy — the most stringent requirements in the industry.

  • Permanent Link & Channel configuration
  • NEXT, PSNEXT, ACR-F, Return Loss testing
  • PoE resistance unbalance (IEEE 802.3bt)
  • 8-second test time per Cat6A link

✓ Supports 10G/25G/40G Ethernet certification

Fiber Optic Certification

Tier 1 (OLTS) and Tier 2 (OTDR) testing for single-mode and multi-mode fiber using OptiFiber Pro with HDR technology.

  • Multimode 850/1300 nm testing
  • Singlemode 1310/1550/1625 nm testing

✓ Fiber inspection with FiberInspector camera

Physical Layer Audit

Complete inspection of racks, patch panels, cable management, and labeling to ensure compliance with TIA-606-C administration standards.

Signal Integrity Testing

Detailed measurement of Crosstalk, Return Loss, and Attenuation to verify error-free data transmission at rated speeds.

Standards Compliance

Validation that your installation meets TIA-568-D and ISO/IEC 11801 requirements for enterprise cabling systems.

Professional Certification Workflow

We follow a rigorous process to ensure every link in your building is certified and documented

1. Site Preparation

We map your existing infrastructure, identify all test points, and establish cable ID labeling scheme per TIA-606.

On-site or remote

2. High-Precision Testing

Using Fluke DSX-8000 and OptiFiber Pro, we capture real-time performance data across all frequency ranges.

8 sec per Cat6A link

3. Issue Resolution

Any failed links are diagnosed with graphical fault location, repaired, and re-tested until they pass.

Down to the inch

4. Final Verification

We verify every cable meets the required frequency range (up to 2000 MHz for Cat8).

All parameters checked

5. PDF Reporting

You receive a full technical breakdown of every link with Pass/Fail status, graphs, and measurements.

Same-day delivery

6. Warranty Support

Our certification reports serve as documented proof of quality for manufacturer warranty claims.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I need cable certification vs. just testing?

Certification testing verifies that installed cabling meets TIA-568 or ISO 11801 performance standards — not just that it's connected. We measure crosstalk, return loss, attenuation, and other parameters across the full frequency range. This is the only way to prove your cables can support 10G+ speeds and qualify for manufacturer warranties.

How long does certification take?

For a typical office with 50-100 drops, certification takes 1-2 days. Our Fluke DSX-8000 completes a full Cat6A test in just 8 seconds per link. Larger facilities are quoted based on drop count and complexity. You receive PDF reports the same day testing is completed.

What happens if a cable fails certification?

We diagnose the failure using graphical analysis that pinpoints the exact fault location — often down to the inch. We then repair or reterminate the connection and re-test until it passes. You only pay for certified links; failed cables that we fix are included.

What documentation do I receive?

You receive a detailed PDF report for every tested link, including: Pass/Fail status, all measurement values (NEXT, Return Loss, etc.), frequency graphs, cable length, and any anomalies detected. These reports are valid for manufacturer warranty claims and should be kept for 15+ years.

Can you certify Cat8 and 40G cabling?

Yes. Our Fluke DSX-8000 certifies up to Cat8 / Class I/II (2000 MHz), and our Softing WireXpert goes up to 2500 MHz. This covers all current enterprise standards including 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T.

Do you certify fiber optic cabling?

Absolutely. We perform both Tier 1 (OLTS) loss/length testing and Tier 2 (OTDR) event analysis for single-mode and multi-mode fiber. This includes end-face inspection with automated pass/fail analysis.
